Marine Carpenter – Experienced with cabinetry building and installation, repairs and modifications, teak decking, and ship fitting, some fiberglass experience is helpful.
Marine Mechanic – Experienced in all aspects of marine diesel engine and systems installation, repair and troubleshooting. Candidates must be familiar with all aspects of service and new construction with strong organizational skills. Minimum 10 years in the related field with ABYC certification preferred.
Marine Electrician – Experienced marine electrician wanted for busy full service boatbuilding facility and marina. Candidates must be familiar with all aspects of service and new construction with strong organizational skills. Minimum 10 years in the related field with ABYC certification preferred.
Air Conditioning/Refrigeration – Experienced refrigeration and air conditioning tech with strong electrical and mechanical skills. Candidates must possess current EPA refrigeration handling license.
Metal Fabricators – Certified Aluminum/Stainless Steel Welders and Fabricators experienced in mig and tig.
Yacht Spray Painter – Applicants should have knowledge in fairing, preparation and application of urethane and enamel finishes and varnish work. Experience in spray application is preferred.
Paint Preparation – Seeking workers to perform paint and fiberglass preparation. Tasks include sanding, fairing, filling holes/cracks, masking and rolling bottom paints. Some experience in similar applications preferred.
Detailer – Seeking person to clean and detail yachts for post-project clean up and spring commissioning. Tasks include cleaning/dusting, washing interior and exteriors, cleaning engine rooms, compounding and waxing hulls. Attention to detail a must. Experience in similar positions is preferred.
Driver/Stockroom Help – Seeking candidates for busy marine stockroom in Portsmouth, RI. Duties include shipping and receiving documentation and handling, assisting customers and employees at sales counter, stocking shelves, minor tool repair. Some lifting required. Clean driving record. Willing to work weekends and overtime as required.
Security Guard – Seeking a security guard for 2nd and 3rd shifts. 5 years experience in a similar position is preferred.
