Hurricane prep at NEB – Don’t wait too late!

IS THE HURRICANE COMING HERE?
We cannot give you an opinion on this question. We are not meteorologists nor are weathermen.
We hear the weather from the same sources that you do.

AM I BETTER OFF IN OR OUT OF THE WATER?
We cannot give you an opinion on this. You should check with your insurance agency for the proper
procedure based upon your policy.

AM I COVERED FOR HAUL, WASH, LAUNCH OR STORM DAMAGE?
This varies from policy to policy. Check with your insurance carrier. Also, the question as to whether
you should be in or out during a storm should be checked with your agent.

CAN YOU HAUL ME?
We have a first come first serve basis. We do not make a list based on “if” it comes. We haul a boat only
when specifically requested to do so.

CAN I STAY OUT FOR WINTER STORAGE AFTER HAULING FOR THE HURRICANE?
No we cannot do this. When hauling for a hurricane we do not have the time or the space on land to
organize the boats properly. All boats hauled for a storm must be ready for launch after the storm.
We require keys, combos and proof of insurance prior to hauling to expedite launching.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PREPARE FOR THE HAUL AND THE HURRICANE?
All sails, biminis, and canvas must be removed prior to hauling. All loose objects on deck must be
removed and stored below. These services can be provided @ $70.00/hr. or $88/hr. for overtime as available.

Prepayment is required for all services at our published rates.

DO YOU HAVE SLIPS AVAILABLE?
Dockage is possible based on availability at a minimum of three days @ $3.75/ft. prepaid.
Check with Marina Operations.
Anchoring and/or tying to piles is not allowed.
